What's Angry Birds? I'll have to check that one out. Zen Timer looks good for me, too. I have my Pilates list in the Notes that comes with the iphone. In fact, I use Notes alot for gift ideas, things to remember, books to read, movie list, birthdays. It's simple and straigtforward. My faves:

    100 pushups
    Livestrong (to track food)
    Pandora
    Public Radio
    YNAB3

I will be so happy when I can roll over to Verizon, because the actual phone part doesn't work in many areas where I have to be.

So I started reading this thread and thought, literally, "angry birds, angry birds, angry birds." Then I scrolled down and saw....

Tulip, don't get it. Biggest time suck ever. But it rules.

One of my favorite apps is Ambiance, which has diferent white noise sounds. Really helps when I'm trying to work, trying to block out co-workers, and find music too distracting.

Cook's Illustrated is great as well. Lots of free recipes, and if you have a membership, lots more.

Scrabble is loads of fun. Civilization: Revolution and Doom Resurrection are great games.

Around Me is good for finding different nearby businesses.

Angry birds is very therapeutic. When stupid annoying stuff gets to be too much, smashing animated pigs is a great antidote. And I love the sound effects.

I agree that games are a great way to numb up ... I'm not sure that's necessarily a good thing (or actually "therapeutic" at all). But I suppose that aside from tendinitis, the risks are lower than drugs.

    I just bought "Angry Birds".

Wheeeee! What fun! I love that it's just physics! Parabola puzzles (I'm on level 5 right now, and just learned to change my parabola to deal with different shapes of castle).

And the noises the birds make are amusing. At least for now...

iPad users who want an amazing physics game, try Osmos HD. Not sure if there's a phone version.

    A little off-topic:

So, finally, Verizon gets iphone. I wonder how difficult they will make it for current iphone users to switch. ATT's coverage simply does not meet my needs, and my calls get dropped every single day.

Verizon has it's issues, but at least they have decent coverage.
