+1 on the under bottle frame mount mini pump on my bike. I just took off the water bottle and the pump mounted right under the cage for the H2O.

I do not carry CO2 cartridges because pumps are much more reliable. On my Luna, I carry a small pump in my jersey back pocket. On my Bike Friday, my pump is held on underneath the tube by skinny bungee cords (but a water bottle mount would work well on a non-folding bike). On my Jamis I ride with panniers (errand bike) so I just carry my pump in the panniers. I have three pumps for three bikes (plus a floor pump).
I'd rather be swimming...biking...running...and eating cheesecake...

I like having a roomy saddlebag on both my bikes. No problems carrying anything.I keep a small pump in there, along with my maps and cable-lock etc. I even keep a bungee cord in my saddlebag too, so I can strap a fresh loaf of bread on top of the bag to take home from the bakery while I'm passing through town on the way home after a ride.
