I've been exploring a photography forum lately and noticed they had a dedicated thread for bicycle pictures:

Each day is a gift, that's why it is called the present.
Hey. Pardes posted on page 5 (post #72).
She used to post here on TE - always with lots of pix. Haven't seen a post from her in a while....
2007 Seven ID8 - Bontrager InForm
2003 Klein Palomino - Terry Firefly (?)
2010 Seven Cafe Racer - Bontrager InForm
2008 Cervelo P2C - Adamo Prologue Saddle
There are some amazing photos there, thank you!

mixedbabygreens My blog, which really isn't all about the bike.
Her posts & blogs are always good.
Looks like she last posted on the pentax forums on 11/23 & last logged in 12/12/10 - so very likely she's doing well and is just busy![]()
Remember the thread where someone got worried about her and ended up calling her at her office to make sure she's okay? Now we can just check pentax forums.
Nope, I can't justify the price especially given what I do with my cameras (they do end up riding along in my kayak in a watertight box, but accidents happen). I'm picking up a lightly used k7 off the forum, it's still an improvement over my k20d. I was really tempted by the k-r other than the lack of water sealing.
Then somewhere down the line, I want one of the olympus pens - maybe the e-pl2. I still have my film olympus pen & 3 lenses for it...
I had the pleasure of meeting Pardes because she was the guest speaker at our annual bike club dinner in November. She is very active in bicycle advocacy, and is an officer (VP) for Bike Delaware. She also works full time, and has been completely car free for several years now, relying on a bike/bus/bike commuting scheme for getting to work and for shopping. (Living in a larger city that even has a bus system she can do that readily. Down here in lower, slower DE, we only have bus service in the summer.) She did however accept a ride down to our dinner - it was a 200 mile round trip.

It is because it is not a DSLR that I can take pictures from my stoker seat on the tandem.
The big cameras only get to come out when the purpose is for pictures.
