Today, Maidiei and I took a trip to Rend Lake and did some riding on the bike trail. She really enjoyed herself and wore her new jersey. After the ride, she took a break on the swings and did a little site-seeing.

Wow, Maidei has lots of fun..and is acquiring some stuff. Her journey will get heavy.
She's also getting her tiny white-green jersey from Susan O whenever she gets to Oregon by the coast.

Our club got it from the company when we ordered jerseys and I saved it for Maidiei. It's a little long but it will work. She likes it!

Maidei went to the SIU Saluki basketball game last night and got to meet Grey Dog. She really enjoyed herself.

Maidiei is getting quite the cultural taste of the Midwest - from a Broadway play to hitting the slopes to a basketball game - and she FINALLY got to ride - go Maidiei!
