Low 50s, but it's really wet, given the rain+melting snow. I need to get tires that are better on wet pavement.
At least I don't leave slime trails.

Lower your tire pressure a bit; they should be fine. Now your brakes might be a different story . . . . If I'm out in the rain, I give myself a little extra braking distance and try to avoid any big downhills--which isn't hard in Central Indiana.

hmmm, I normally keep my 26-inch tires at full pressure - 70psi. Should I lower that for the wetter conditions or am I fine?

Frankly I do not know if I will actually be on the road tomorrow, or just ride 15-17 miles inside Eagle Creek. With the sunshine today I am tempted to ride - but it will be somewhere between 5-7 degrees warmer tomorrow and I went to spinning class this morning where I was able to really work it Don't want to do too much in the same day...

I will take whatever I can get tomorrow - it has been more than a month since my last ride

Today is cold, wet, rainy, with a chance of snow, but the front is going to leave tonight and leave arctic air behind in Tucson. It will be the coldest day of the year - NWS predicts a high of 44. I was just looking at the forecast, as a friend invited me to for a ride tomorrow. I'm lobbing for a 1 pm start time. Not sure how far we'll go- 20-25 miles? We might have to find a place for a hot mocha along the way.

Thanks for the tip, Indysteel! Catrin, my guess is that it depends on your tires. The manufacturer says mine are much happier on dry pavement, so...(Once I wear these out, my next set will be wet/dry.)

I'm debating heading over to the bike trail tomorrow, but that involves disentangling the bike from the trainer and removing the duct taped computer, then putting it back on again. I clearly need a second bike as well.

ETA: Azfiddle, I hate to say this, but I love it when that happens. My boyfriend (who lives in Mesa) has a nasty habit of calling me and telling me how nice it is there. Mwahahah!

Ok, I understand now. I think my tires are fine, they are meant for different kinds of conditions.

I think you should meet me at Nebo Ridge when I got for my Gunnar fitting on the 14th and shop for a new bike

New year's eve here is predicted to be snowy with a high of 19. Probably not my best day for a ride.

Still, if all those silly people with their *^%$#@! cars would stay home...

I'm hoping to ride, finally. Supposed to be mid-50s w/sunshine. Only our second "above normal" temperature all month in NC!
