Thing is the roads never had any accumulation on them at all. You mean to tell me people wouldn't drive over a small amount of snow? As long as there isn't any ice under snow isn't an issue to drive on. I learned how to drive in the snow before learning how to drive on dry roads. I've driven on that much snow in a car before, then again I also drove through a white out to get home from college one day. The same happens in the Charlotte area as well and they have several snow plows and a bunch of salt trucks. I will never understand this phenomenon. I also don't get it with the hurricanes either, and this summer is the closest I've ever actually been to one of those.
