    Beautiful Colors

    To disable ads, please log-in.

I will be putting my deposit down on my Gunnar Sport in just under three weeks and am starting to think about color since I've probably settled on the Sport (once we make certain the geometry will work for me).

While pink isn't my favorite color, I found this Roadie in pink - isn't it beautiful!

While the pink is beautiful, this is even more attractive to me, I like the strong combination of red and black:

This is a beautiful color as well:

This red is to die for:

I found all of these images by looking for a particular picture of a beautiful 2-tone blue with swirls that I've found in the past. Decisions decisions, I WILL have to tell them what color I want, after all

yum yum! Don't you have to pay extra for non current colors? I'm not a big fan of any of the current colors. These colors here are lovely!!

You're right, they are all beautiful colors. It will be a hard choice. But picking the color is part of the fun of going custom.

Yes, you do have to pay extra for something other than the current colors - which I am not a fan of. There are a variety of options, everywhere from $75 extra for a recent monthly color, to $275 for a 3 color fade from the full Waterford palate and everything in-between.

There are recent colors that I will certainly consider. Orange isn't one of my normal favorite colors but they have an Orange glow over sterling silver that is nice (5/2010) a Cinnamon candy over copper (2009), and assorted pearls. I suspect that I will settle on one of their recent colors, they are all available back until 2003. Sadly I can't provide links to the individual colors...anyway, I love rich vibrant colors

If I HAD to choose today, it would probably be either the Pearl in Black or the Purple Pearl, or the Candy Plum over Charcoal Silver. See, it is GOOD I have three weeks in which to make up my mind

Oooh, pretty! I'm partial to the pink, of the ones you have pictured. The green next. Not a big fan of red or black, but that's just me. Know you'll pick exactly the right color for you. What fun!!

I wish that I could link to the Pearl in Black or the Purple Pearl, they are quite striking - more so than the ones I did post

I'm with moonfroggy, I'm also a huge green fan. Or orange. I like bright bikes (hence my "saffron" mtb).

I do envy you having to make such a hard decision! I'd be really tempted by the pink, myself.

I couldn't resist sharing pictures of some of the beautiful colors/bikes that I found. I know that it isn't about the color, but I love rich color and getting a custom bike gives me that opportunity.

So I just have to decide between bright, or darker/richer. If I choose the Pearl in Black or either version of the Purple Pearl - accessorizing would be quite fun

Someone here posted a charcoal gray mountain bike with pink accents on craigslist. If I'd seen a bike that color in the store - ehhh, too boring - but it was just the right mix of girly and tough.

But I'd never be able to make up my mind with infinite choices. I have a hard enough time with restaurant menus. I'll be in suspense until you can post pictures of the bike you get!

My word, they have a UK site too!

What a fantastic choice of colours, Catrin. I love the pearl finishes.

OMG; so many choices! What fun.

I love that Purple Pearl. That, along with Cinnamon Candy over Copper, are my favorites. But of course, it's not my bike (although I wish it were)!

Have fun with your selection. I've seen a few bikes in person that that have a pearlescent paint job. They look absolutely gorgeous in sunlight.

Indy - have you seen the Purple Pearl or the Cinnamon Candy over Copper in person? You know how different color can be in reality compared with a computer monitor. I suspect that it will be one of those two Certainly worth the $75 upcharge!

Drool. Those are gorgeous. I'd have a really hard time picking colors, and with a practically infinite pallete, I think my head would explode. I really like that red you posted, though.

I look forward to seeing pictures.
