I already knew that eventually a more aggressive, carbon (for our rough chip-sealed roads that really take a lot of the pleasure out of rides) frame with SRAM would be in my future. I figured maybe in another year or two. And then I saw that bike when Cannondale updated the site with the 2011 models...and literally squealed out loud. Orange is my favorite color and it's equipped with SRAM Rival. It was a no-brainer. I showed it to DH and our shop guy and DH knew he had no way of saying no. Our shop guy even named it a good month before we actually placed the order.

Is it really? Not long after I saw the bike on Cannondale's website one of the wrenches are our LBS posted a photo of one on his FB page that he was assembling for another customer. I chastised him for being a tease. Every time we would go into the shop for other things I would "pet" the one on the sales floor. It was 3 sizes too big for me, but I still liked to ogle it.
