Dont worry about the bar tape, it may not get that bad for a while and is easily replaced!
I rode a Tarmac and liked it quite a bit but the wheels that were on the model I rode were distracting me. They were terrible.
As for the Jett, I have heard mixed things about it. Personally it looks too cushy for me. I think you have put enough miles in to say that it isnt working for you.
arielmoon...I swear I thought I had a little more color in my house than white.
That tile & door came with the house when we bought it. It is definitely WHITE though. Hehehe! Geez...I'm looking around and EVERYTHING is white or beige. What's up with that. My kitchen has red walls. But...everything else really is pretty darn neutral. Gotta take care of that I think.
As for the Jett saddle...it definitely doesn't feel cushy. Ouch! I think I'm gonna have to take "macski's" advice on getting measured. That thing can't be right.
