We had a Burley Solo for our son, and it was an absolute dream to ride with. Very light and maneuverable, could barely feel it was there. He rode like a prince in a reclining baby carrier (well strapped down to each corner) from a few months old, if that, probably much the same as the baby snuggler. When he outgrew that he had to sit in the built-in webbing seat that really doesn't give much support, they do need to be able to sit and hold up their heads for that.
Many funny memories of going grocery shopping with him in the carrier, and coming home with bags of food all around the poor kid and the lightest things like toilet paper and loaves of bread piled up in his disgruntled lap
Winter riding is much less about badassery and much more about bundle-uppery. - malkin
