You rode 6,918 miles and are utterly disappointed ???

Not disappointed with the mileage I've done...but disappointed that the snow couldn't hold off for just one more weekend.

thank you for the clarification, context makes all the difference and I am glad to hear that your dissapointment is more weather related than self esteem related because you have a major accomplishment to celebrate.

I totally get the part about missing a goal and become frustrated if I don't make a personal deadline and so forth. I tend to being driven and was really really ticked off and bugged in a major when falling short, but as I have gotten older there is much more appreciation of the journey and less focus on the destination.

With your determination and enthusiam I bet you do get to your magic number! Then we can all celebrate
