    Go get em colby!!!

I ran about 13 on trails today. A little harder than I intended, but I enjoyed time running with a good friend.
Slow and steady (like a train!)

Good luck, Colby! I know you are doing great!

Ran 10 miles this morning. It's the week before the HM in Memphis so I have my taper week ahead of me. I am sooooo ready! The blister needs to heal more but I think it's still going to be an issue.

Ran 10.6 today with DH... slower I am sure than he'd like to go (9:30 to his 7:42 average) but it's a big improvement for me so I'm happy. Rounds out a good week mileage-wise.

Colby, I am looking forward to your race report!
I can do five more miles.

Nice 5+ mile trail run with a rather steep hill at the start. I really need to focus on the hills as they always slow me way down. Have a great end of November everyone!!

I did a little over eight. It was a beautiful day, but I was a little nervous because it's opening day for deer gun season. Basically nobody with any sense goes outside for the next two weeks. I waited until early afternoon when the deer would be least active and hunters might be taking a lunch break. Saw a few hunters and/or their vehicles, but only heard a few shotgun reports (it was near nonstop this morning).

Thought I posted yesterday's run, but guess not! It was my first run since the half. Working the holiday weekend did in my running.
Did 4 miles. I decided if I want to hold sub-10 min mile pace I needed to become more comfortable at running at a faster pace. So did 4 miles, avg 10:19 pace. Was "comfortably hard". My hamstrings were really tight & really feeling it during the run. It was already in the 70's, but had a nice breeze.
Then I headed out x-mas shopping. Feet & legs were toast by the end of the day!
Heading out for 5 this AM.
