Check out my OTHER big red bike!

Its just gotten too difficult to get to all of my tri-training using public transport alone, and I can't lock my Felt up on the street, so I've decided I need motorized transport.

All hail, my new Vespa GTS 250!

    Oh fantastic!

I had a Vespa 150 for about a year until I escalated (to a Triumph and then a Ducati). I really miss the scooter, and my husband and I often talk about putting one back into our stable. I would probably get the 250 now.

    Enjoy!

oooh, I was sorely tempted to get a new Triumph Bonnie! Ultimately it came down to two things: I wanted a top box for storage, and since most of my riding is in the city, I didn't want to deal with shifting in city traffic. I'm sure we'll be expanding the stable at some point!

But for now...that vespa twist n go, is just too much fun!

They've just phased out the 250's for 2011 and are making 300's now. Identical bikes otherwise.
