This morning I was able to ride the spinning bike in my apartment's fitness complex and actually tighten down the toe cages and do something that approached real work I experimented with standing runs and standing climbs with moderate resistance...and NO bad after-effects

So the progress continues, if'en I can keep from over-doing things. No more bike stuff until the weekend

I am actually putting off purchasing cold-weather tights until my tendons are in better shape - I can't risk over-doing things right now... I think my leg-warmers will be good until the low 40's, but probably not warm enough for lower temps. I WANT a pair of PI AmFibs, but it seems prudent to wait, knowing me.
