Love the trail picture, it looks like it belongs on one of those Runner's World pages at the beginning of the magazine (name escapes me).

I ran about 1:15 on Sunday as my last "long" run, the temp dropped to 20s and the wind chill was in the single digits so I did not do it outside, which limited my time (and patience).

6 days to my marathon... I am probably nervous but it's hidden behind a thousand other things. The trick is to find the balance between confidence ("I've done it before, I'll do it again") and indifference ("eh, it's just another marathon"). My last 20 mile run felt so good that I think my brain isn't really convinced this was marathon training. It's supposed to hurt, right?

The temps this week are supposed to be very cold up until the end of the week. Tonight, blizzard warning. I'm not sure if I'll be running outside this week or not. I love running in the snow, and it looks like my insulated and waterproof FiveFingers arrived today, so I might give it a shot. The regular Five Fingers are a little scary in slippery conditions, though not a whole lot worse than running shoes can be.
