OH! I actually bought a picture from that trail race last weekend! I think it is my favorite running picture ever! In the woods, having fun, AND in front of a bunch of guys!

Love the trail picture, it looks like it belongs on one of those Runner's World pages at the beginning of the magazine (name escapes me).

I ran about 1:15 on Sunday as my last "long" run, the temp dropped to 20s and the wind chill was in the single digits so I did not do it outside, which limited my time (and patience).

6 days to my marathon... I am probably nervous but it's hidden behind a thousand other things. The trick is to find the balance between confidence ("I've done it before, I'll do it again") and indifference ("eh, it's just another marathon"). My last 20 mile run felt so good that I think my brain isn't really convinced this was marathon training. It's supposed to hurt, right?

The temps this week are supposed to be very cold up until the end of the week. Tonight, blizzard warning. I'm not sure if I'll be running outside this week or not. I love running in the snow, and it looks like my insulated and waterproof FiveFingers arrived today, so I might give it a shot. The regular Five Fingers are a little scary in slippery conditions, though not a whole lot worse than running shoes can be.

I ran this morning. Every few weeks this just seems to happen, despite the fact it makes my hip hurt. But, my hip hurts most of the time, so I get disgusted and run.
It;s funny how being in the dark makes things easier. I went out dressed to run (i.e. shorts) as it was 50 at 5:30 AM, but I saidI was going to walk. All of a sudden, I found myself running. Probably more slowly than I would if I had the intentionof running, but before I knew it, I had turned around and had run up the 10% grade hill and was at my driveway. I think it comes from not being able to see hills and such as well in the dark, because the same thing happens when riding. The roads were wet, though, so I am glad I ditched the bike.
Eh, I am bored. Two clients cancelled so TE has to amuse me for the next 20 minutes.

A little over four, including 6 x 100m sprints with a long interval between to strop the edge a little ahead of the Turkey Trot. Not a goal event, but it's way too far to drive if I'm not at least going to try to do my best, and it feels like forever since I've raced a 5K.

    Love the pic Kacie!!

I did a little over 3 miles today after work. I added a few sprints to start to improve my overall speed. All in all it was a good run.

Did two and a half-ish today - tried to meet a group and they didn't show? Oh well. The whole second half was into a headwind and I haven't dealt with that in awhile!!
