Wow, that IS a fast group - WTG on the PR Susan!

Two towns over they were having a Thanksgiving farmers' market, which they do every year - other markets are done for the season. So I went up there with a plan to go to the market, do a little run on the MUP and pick up the new helmet I'd ordered from the LBS ...

So they were doing registrations for the Turkey Trot at the farmers' market. What the heck - even though it's been close to a year since I did any training for shorter distances. With that in mind, I just did four on the MUP, the first 5K at an enthusiastic pace once I was warmed up.

I've been fighting some stomach thing for the last couple of days. Hopefully it will clear up in time for Thanksgiving!

Ran an 8 mile trail race today. It was not my fastest but it was faster by half minute than last year... I was hoping for a better improvement, but really, I'm just glad I didn't twist an ankle or trip and take a digger. So yay!

I can do five more miles.

I haven't been very good about posting my runs lately. Today was about an hour trail run; I found some nice trails that I hadn't run before and that turned out to be really good. No idea what my mileage was but I'm sure it was less than 6 since I was going fairly slow.

9 mile run yesterday morning and for some reason this one hurt more than usual. Maybe it was mental. Maybe it was just not a good day to run. Either way, I got through it. It wasn't pretty but it's finished. HM in 2 weeks!
