Dahon Jetstream P8 - an awesome 8 speed folding bike that can handle fractured asphalt, potholes, and ruts. The full-suspension design, engineered in Germany, takes small wheel bike suspension to a new level.

The Jetstream offers a lot of versatility due to its rugged features. It can be folded in an amazingly quick 15 seconds. Pedals fold in, as well, to make it even more compact.

The frame is made out of Double-Butted 7005 Aluminum. Double butted tubing allows frame designers to build strong, but exceptionally light frames.

The Jetstream, always garaged, is in very good condition and has Schwalbe Marathon tires, SRAM brakes and SRAM shifters. Rear rack is included.

Ready to ride away and take on the pavement or off-road.

what size is it? what height is it appropriate for?

I just called my LBS which sells Dahons. They confirmed that there really isn't a frame size, just a 20 inch wheel, that's how Dahon sizes the bike. However, the bike will fit anyone from 5' to 6' tall comfortably with the adjustments that can be made.

I'm 5'6" and it's a very comfortable ride for me. My daughter-in-law rode the bike before and she's 5'2" and enjoyed the ride, as well.

Do you have a Dahon dealer near you where you could test ride one?

my husband and I both have the same sized Dahons, something we could never do with a standard bike.
A simple adjustment of the handlebars can bring it in if your arms are a little short, and the seat is incredibly easy to adjust.
$500 is a great price!

as a matter of fact, he's on his way to Arizona for a bike ride with his Dahon, they are REALLY easy to pack and light enough to fit into the case and not have to pay excess weight charges; the case is a tiny bit too big unfortunately to be standard luggage, but so far we have not paid any over size charges.
