Update:
Well, I thought I would be doing this after Thanksgiving, but the dates changed around a bit so I started on Saturday.
Day 1 I did 36 laps in the pool (1800 yards), 12 miles on the most horrible stationary bike ever, and 5.5 miles running/walking on the dreadmill.
Day 2 I did 24 miles on the torture cycle and 5.3 miles mostly walking with a little running on the dreadmill.
I'm off to a decent start!
