    Taped leg

My PT taped my hamstring in two places Friday and it is just wonderful...but how long can I leave the tape on? Any problems with leaving it on until Friday? I swear it feels like it is healed, outside of the occasional twinge in two tendons - but the hamstring muscle itself feels great!

I apologise if this seems a stupid question...but I didn't know if there was a problem with just leaving it...Kind of surprised that my sensitive skin isn't complaining, but it isn't

Kinesio tape? I've left it on for 5 or so days before. If it sticks that long, leave it!

Cool - as you can tell I've not been around this tape before. It is still sticking just fine. I did avoid the steam room at my gym this morning, wasn't sure what that moist heat might do to the tape.

I've been taping my knee per my ortho Dr. and physical therapist's recommendations.

You can keep the tape on for 3-5 days or really, as long as it stays. You may actually have more problems trying to remove it sooner (some people are sensitive to it but I've been fine taking it off after a day for PT when we were doing shockwave therapy). It gets essentially waterproof after a couple of hours so no need to worry about it getting wet or anything.
