so sorry for your loss, Clock. Losing one we love is so difficult- sometimes I think even more when he's your pet and you've taken care of him for so long and he's dependent on you for everything.

    Hugs to you, dear!

I had a bluey as well , they could have been twins. I am so sorry. Those little guys can worm themselves into your heart and memories so fast. Bless him and you- 11 years for a budgie is pretty remarkable and I'm sure you made each of them happy.

Sorry for your loss. Bluey has spread his wings and flown - to torment the kitties at the Rainbow Bridge probably.

Never expected so many lovely posts, I just hope Bluey can access the internet up there!

I was thinking earlier today, the love that all of us on here give our pets and yet there are children in the world that don't get that.

Thanks again for making me smile and understanding how I felt.

Clock, sorry about your guy Bluey, it's amazing how birdies can become such a part of our life and families. I lost my budgie Popeye many years ago but have never forgotten him. God put a special place in our hearts for the animal kingdom and children because we are their stewards.

I am so sorry to hear of your budgie's passing. That was a good, long life he had. The liitle ones can certainly steal your heart away, and I think that many people who don't have birds don't understand how attached you can get. I sob evey single time one of mine leaves us, and we have a little birdie cemetary at the edge of the woods.

Aw, Clock, I'm sorry to hear about Bluey. I'm sure that my canary and my Senegal Parrot are welcoming Bluey to the Rainbow Bridge. They will have quite a time flying free and chuckling at all the cats and generally being clowns.

Monday today and I have lost count how many times I have whistled or called out to my little Bluey.

But we have all been there and yes, time is a great healer as they say.
