Can that bike take a rack and panniers? Fenders?
I am slightly interested, but not sure if it would fit any better than my Jamis. The dimensions are fine, though.

Pretty bike Not that I can buy another bike this year & it is too small for me anyway - but a pretty steel steed! Whoever gets her will love her, I am quite certain.

I live in Maryland. I haven't shipped a bike in the last couple years, so I don't know how much it costs lately. I have a couple bike boxes in the attic still though.

Yes, it can take a rack with panniers, definitely on the back. On the front you have to get a rack that clamps half way up the fork, I think.

It does have fender eyelets front and back - Fenders it can take as long as you stay under 700x28, I think. It can take 700x32 tires, but it won't fit a fender with that.

Well, you know I live nearby, so there would be no need to ship! Might be a bit small for me in terms of the standover (I'm 5'5"). The TT length is about perfect, though. Very tempting... I need a sturdy steed for wet pavement. I'd have to give away/sell one of my bikes...maybe my Lisa.

What's your inseam? You may end up with the seat jacked up over the handlebar height, which could be uncomfortable. We could put a higher angle stem on it - but that may not be enough.

Although I think the bike would fit me perfectly, I really want to get a bike with couplers, as well having all of the above....
Off to Harris Cyclery today to start the process of figuring out exactly just what I need.

It's a steel frame, so you can have the S+S couplers put on by any LBS that does frame work.

(They cut the frame and weld the couplers on... just like doing a knee replacement! Well, that metaphor made sense to *me*, anyway...)
