You're right - diet soda provides no nutrients. But sometimes that's what I want to drink. And in moderation, I think that's OK. After all, we all have to make our own choices. What I found was that 1 raw orange (with a diameter of 2 7/8 inches) provides 69 calories and 3.1 grams of fiber. An 8 ounce glass of orange juice (raw, from the fruit as opposed to concentrate) was 112 calories and had only 0.5 grams of fiber. Maybe you're drinking some kind of juice that has fiber added?
