My geriatric kitties have been enjoying themselves laying on my mohair shawl. Wore it a couple of weeks ago, tossed it on the couch, and they claimed it. So I guess that makes the kitties part of the Wool Weenies club too.

I made the hat myself. I have a small head, so too small usually isn't a problem! The pattern I used is really flexible - I found it easy to make the hat larger with bigger needles, doubling the wool, or simply adding stitches. It does reduce stitching near the top, so it's not bulky or lumpy at the top. I'm used to cables, so I found it pretty easySo cozy in ultra-soft merino!

Got one for my birthday! >happy dance<
Unfortunately I'm going to have to exchange it for a larger size - one size up from what I wear in Ibex baselayers.
And it's not super heavy. Definitely lighter than my full-length dressy wool coat. It would be perfect for you PNW'ers.![]()

Anyone have the Patagonia merino 4 classic hoody? So pricy (even on clearance!) ...but it looks so cute and I'm freezing right now. Reviews?
I broke out my ibex long trail sweater today & my icebreaker jetter.
I am all swaddled in wooly goodness.
Don't have the hoody but I have a couple of the merino 4 pieces (zip t-neck and crew). Love them, very warm, feel good against the skin. You cannot go wrong w/Patagonia -- excellent investment, high quality, and you'll have it for YEARS (so long as you care for it properly).

I received my Ibex Ms Indie LS Jersey today. I'm surprised it's so thin; I expected it to be thicker. It's like tee-shirt fabric, although it's Merino and quite soft.
If any of you have this jersey, I'd be interested to know how you like it. I'm not sure I'm going to keep it. I just thought it would be thicker, but perhaps it's okay as it is.
I have an ibex cycling jersey, I don't remember which one - but it'll be similar weight to the one you got.
I love it. I wear it hiking as well as biking - it's warm, yet still breathable enough or lets just enough wind that as I'm heating up with activity that I stay comfortable temp wise. Put a wind jacket over it and I'm quite fine.
My parents just bought my husband the Indie LS jersery in the mens version as an early Christmas present. I was also a little surprised at how thin it was...but it's really good looking.
I've bought a couple of items from Ibex that when I first got them, I was worried they were too thin. I've kept them all and many of them are now my favorite tops. They may not fit into my wardrobe like I'd originally intended, but they ended up being even more useful than I had expected.
