I hope our friends at TE will pardon my announcing this, but ...

... Fat Cyclist gear is now back on sale at Twin 6, for a limited time.

    Hee hee.

I should warn you, it's not really the same jersey. The LS jersey is actually quite different from the SS (at least, this year's LS is different than my SS Fat Cyclist jersey from a few years back, which I think might be the original version).

And some of those differences aren't really spelled out on the website.

As was mentioned on the website, the fabric of the LS is fleeced, so its going to be great for chilly days.

What the T6 site doesn't mention is:
    • The bottom is elastic (unlike the SS jersey).
    • The zipper is full length (which from my perspective is actually nice, since I'll probably wear it often with a thin wool underlayer, as sort of a lightweight jacket).
    • The fit of the LS is a bit different as well -- I found the medium to fit a bit snugger than my medium SS, which fits me just fine. This was in part on account of the elastic on the bottom of the LS, but I found the arms to be a bit snug as well.

That said, even though I was kind of disappointed to find the bottom is elasticized (not a fan of that), it's a lovely jersey.

I think I'll want to wear a baselayer underneath it often, so I sent the medium back to exchange for a large. Hopefully I'll get my roomier LS jersey soon.

So, if you do opt for the LS as well, you might want to consider ordering up a size.

Ooh, yeah, no elastic-bottomed jerseys for me. Though nowadays the SS jerseys also have a full zip, which is pretty nifty.

Oh, I didn't realize the SS's were now full zip as well
( ... and yet, there it is, plain as day in the SS description on the T6 website )
