You can find out what kind of scissors she used and go get some at a beauty supply shop and try it out. Or you can just have her do it when you get your haircut. I do that, but I have mine threaded. For me, it makes a difference because it seems to brighten my whole face. I didn't do anything with them for a long time, but I'm glad I do now.
