    Tubies are much better about not flatting - little to no risk of pinching! (which also means you can run less pressure)

    I flatted during my last lap at my practice race (Folsom Cyclebration) where my rear wheel picked up fully 10 goatheads. I'd like to think that I satisfied the gods with that first race, so I put the tubulars on and *fwew* call the rest luck!

    My boy flatted his brand new tubular tire with a big gash in the side wall. It hadn't been ridden more than 100 yards.

    you are awesome! i loved your report of the race. i can never remember that much detail afterwards - it's all a big blur. and your pictures are great too
