There was a huge article in the Globe yesterday about how quickly the Marathon sold out. A lot of disappointed people. I guess some people, like Oak, were so happy they qualified right before the cut off date, and then when they couldn't register, it really got to them.
So now, the article said, it's "prestigious" just to say you qualified for Boston, even if you don't actually run it.
