    No, I just never could bring myself to pay ortlieb prices for a glorified dry bag.

    This saves me from taking one of my kayaking drybags and trying to fuse webbing or something on it.

    Sorry I didn't manage to make it to bike with you two - the bike build was giving me problems that I didn't want to rush the solution to and I didn't have another bike that I thought I could ride that long on uneven surface.

    Man- those are GREAT! We don't have a Costco in the the state, but if we did... I've always wanted Ortleibs, but like you, cannot justify the price. I woudl snap those up in a heartbeat!

    If I was doing a cross country trip where weight was at a premium, I'd think about the ortliebs. But I'm not going to be doing that any time soon. These will more than work for now, and if they don't, they're not bad backpacks. Maybe I'll go canyoneering sometime or something
