my stomach is sick... that is so horrific. In this case I agree with you zoom-zoom. How anyone can harm a child is beyond me. I mean, I teach 4-13 year olds and sometimes children can be frustrating, but really?? Wow...
This is crass, but karma is a... well, you know... and life in prison for a child murderer won't be pleasant.

The sadder part is that apparently this situation had been reported to social services on more than one occasion and social services did nothing about it. (I am also from NC, and actually moved form the Charlotte area to Jacksonville, NC a couple of months ago.) I do not remember where it was that the situation had been reported to social services.
