slow but better than nothing. Must get 'life' taken care of to get back to working out and riding. I SO hate all those errands that just won't go away.

Now that I'm done fussin' put in me at 141 today.

Thanks for your time Possegal and I hope everyone is coming right along.

Not as bad as thought . . .

Wrong direction, but I'm taking it considering the last two weeks:
    153.

    Thanks!

151.8 Same as last week, spot on. I've eaten more crap, but gotten more exercise, so I guess it evens out.

Now the plan is to reduce the crap so that I can see some movement on the scale for the next week!

Holysnot! We FINALLY closed on our house and moved last week, so it's been a little crazygonuts around the pinkstead!

Today I'm at 144.5. I don't even remember if that's up or down right now!

41 months ago my oldest sibling was diagnosed with stage 3b lung cancer. It has a median survival of 23 months. (so she's kicking its butt!). In the early months, when we all felt so unbelievably helpless, we did several things to try and alleviate that feeling. (one was forming our Livestrong Challenge cycling/running team). The other was to buy and wear these bracelets that say "Expect Miracles" on them. I ordered a batch of them (two different styles) and then had to take some pictures to send around to the family and friends, so they could see them and decide what one they wanted. My cat Bailey (who has since died of cancer himself) modeled the thinner bracelet for everyone, and also to show his support for my sister. That pic still makes me smile, despite all the 'cancer' talk in the story that goes along with it.

I know this is in the middle of the Sept/Oct Weight Loss Challenge, but started Weight Watchers - on my own on September 27th weighed in at 226#, one week later October 4th I weighed 222#. Bought a good scale this week. I eventually want to start jogging. My weight loss goal is to lose 55# by my 55th birthday April 30th.

149.4, woohoo! I haven't been under 150 in over a year! I just started tracking calories again this week and really worked on portion control. I'm so excited!

After 2 months of maintaining around 111-112, my weight has jumped up to 115. I know I didn't eat 10,000 extra calories since last week..

I am following a training plan to get ready for a century ride, with lots of miles, and intervals. I'm eating more to keep up with fueling for the rides, but I am convinced I'm seeing water retention from the increased stress on my muscles (not to mention feeling.

I have one more week with intervals, then a recovery week- when I hope to see that number come back down. I'm not panicking yet.

That sounds a reasonable assumption, I noted that when I was still training for my brevet, before my hamstring problem put a temporary stop to my long rides. You could also be adding muscle as well.
