Yes it is possible! In the last year, I've lost 60 lbs. It wasn't easy, but it can be done! Along with the weight loss, I now do weight training 5 days a week. Between the two I'm riding a LOT faster and hills are no longer the enemy. And my bike clothes fit so much better! bikerHen
