Interference between HRM and wireless computer?

I hadn't ridden with my heart rate monitor since I got my wireless computer. So yesterday I went out with all my toys - but the HRM readings were completely wacky while I was cycling (showing around 220 bpm). The HRM was reading fine before I started and I think that it was also OK when I stopped moving (at intersections or whatever).

Has anybody had any issues with wireless cycle computers interferring with HRMs (I rode my regular route and the computer readings seemed to be fine).

This is something I heard some of the guys at the indoor training ride talking about. Yup, sometimes they interfere. Sometimes they interfere with each other - the guy next to me moved further away /cause his monitor was showing my heartbeat... well, at least that's what he SAID, I *had* taken a shower!

If I sit at my laptop with the HRM, it'll go berserk too... right now it's at 214. Funny, it never got past 170 (that I saw) on the indoor race!

It might not be the computer. My HR monitor goes nuts around power lines both on poles and under the street.
