Arrg. I just realized that my passport renewal application is still processing (Passport Canada was dissatisfied with the first set of pictures because there was a flash reflection on my forehead.....!) so I don't know if I'll have it back by October 9th.
It's still two weeks away so my chances are not quite nil, but let's say I won't buy a train ticket ahead of time.
ETA: Processing is supposed to take 20 business days so don't expect me on the 9th of October. We could arrange another pre-Christmas shopping trip though.(And, we could go for a bike ride dressed as Santa's little helpers.....
