After reading this topic again, I decided to do some research concerning Topeak pumps. Topeak actually does make a mountain bike pump, so the PSI rating only goes to 75. All of their other pumps have a rating of 160.
So I think the lesson for the day is for each of us to make sure we are buying the pump that we need, and if we're not sure, simply ask staff at your LBS.
At any rate, glad to hear the discussion on pumps, and hopefully we have all learned something as well... I know that I have!
