moonfroggy - you definitely have some really bad bee luck! That's just nuts!
We have two massive honey bee hives and more yellow jackets and hornets that I can count (fruit trees). I've not been stung on my own property in more than two years and I am outside more than I'm inside most days.My new non-farm blog: Finding Freedom

One of my girls stung me on the upper lip yesterday.
i got them a little annoyed by doing a bunch of chores in the hives.
Now one side of my lip is all swollen up like Octomom, and itchy, but it only actually hurt for about half an hour. Looks pretty funny. I guess I'll live, which is more than I can say for she who stung me.
