It's a pool swim and that part is indoors, but the bike and run will be outside. I was planning on just the tri top and compression shorts for the swim. Do you think a long sleeve running tee would be good for the bike/run or shoudl I get a full zip long sleeve jersey for the bike and then switch to a running tee for the run?

Of course, after I figure this all out, I'm sure it will be 78 degrees in Houston that day and I won't need it. Then again, if I don't give it thought, it will end up being 50 and I'll wish I had. Isn't that how it always goes?

I'd just put on a long sleeved something (jersey or running tee long enough to cover your back) and wear it for the bike and run. If you're concerned about getting too warm between the bike and run, arm warmers might work, but they might also be hard to put on. I'd probably wear one of those long sleeved running tech tees or wool that breathe well in case I got overheated (and considering my body will still be wet...)

I would pack with you the short sleeved and long sleeved options just in case.
