How neat! I'm so glad you had a good time and did so well. It's really cool that you were able to do it with your daughter, too.

I sense a road bike in your future

    Woohoo! How fun.

It's so freeing to go into a race knowing you're totally unprepared.

Hey, nice job! Loved your race report. Congrats to your friend and daughter too! Next time you do this I would like to come watch if I can make it. Sounds like fun.

Yay!! Congrats on competing the race. The next step in the downward spiral into the full depths of the dark side is doing all three. Then there's the new bike and all the gear that you'll most *certainly* need. Bwwaaaa haaaa haaaaa!!! (rubbing hands devlishly)

I swam every day last week. Today I put on the running shoes and ran 1/2 mile. I wanted to start really slow and easy, gentle on my knees. I know it was 1/2 mile because I got out the 100 foot tape measure and calculated my stride, and wore the pedometer when I ran. 2112 steps to a mile!

I really think I'm going to do all of it next year. My goal is to complete all 3 events, but I'm dreaming about what my time might be! lol
