No, they have little small round grippers on the legs. Someone said in another thread that knickers are just like long shorts, they have no insulation. These however do have a soft fleecy-like lining at the waist, have a drawstring, and the inside of the legs appear to have a lining similar to the waist but much lighter - they are still soft though.

I am calling them knickers due to the leg length - it is the only thing that makes sense. They do have the word "Thermal" printed on the bottom of the legs next to the reflective strip.

Yes, but apparently only in the title

    They are large.

    Bump...

I would also be willing to trade for a smart-wool balaclava (spelling?), or wind-proof gloves...

So, $40 + shipping for these large thermal knickers, or trade for smart-wool balaclava, wind-proof gloves, or a pair of medium or small knickers (with chamois).

Could you verify the actual inseam -- from the crotch seam to the bottom of the leg seam?

They look like the knickers in your link - however the chamois is a different color - it is red or a hot pink that is close to red.. I won't be able to post the inseam until after my ride tonight but will post it when I get in.
