Explanation of your avatar: This was from our trip to Italy in 2008, this picture was taken on the outer walls of the city of Lucca. Our dream was to cycle in Italy and we got to do it! Wow.

Occupation: Part time office/clerical temp.


What's in your stable? Trek 7500 hybrid...want to graduate to a road bike next year maybe.

Fastest speed on a road bike? 36 mph, this was on the Chilly Hilly this year...whee! Scary fun!! Made up for all the uphill climbing.

What is the biggest lie you've ever told: I have really enjoyed working with you!

Most memorable moment on my bike: The last "7 Hills of Kirkland" ride...wet, soggy, cold, dirty... HILLY.. but I finished and it was a fine and pleasant misery!

Most fun ever had on a bike? I have had so many wonderful adventures on my bike, I can't pick just one...each ride is a new discovery of either myself or my neighborhood.

I love cycling...we got back into it about four years ago, and I am getting better and stronger. I am still a slow cyclist, but getting stronger and don't dread the hills like I used to. I have learned so much from this forum and have enjoyed the information and gentle good humor.
