I think we can get Veganaise here, but i'll check on it when I go down to Seattle next time for the grapeseed kind. I'm not that into mayonnaise, but some alternative might be good to mix up my salad dressings!

I love the salad dressing blends from Penzey's Spices and mix them with vegenaise and a little water for salads all summer long. I've tried a couple of the vegenaise varieties and grapeseed is still my favorite. The shelf stable stuff, nayonnaise, is supposedly wretched.

I think they're talking about mayonnaise made with tofu instead of eggs.

Vegenaise is amazing. Tastes just like I remember Mayonnaise to taste like. My husband and I always have it in the fridge and we usually eat it daily on a sandwich, just like normal mayonnaise. Oh, and no artery clogging cholesterol!

    The other brands suck.

+1 on Grapeseed Vegenaise - I can't stand the soy based version but the grapeseed is quite tasty.

good to know about nayonnaise being wretched. We get them here, and it's a whopping $9. I didn't see any veganaise, so I'll look for it when I'm down in the states next time.

    Vegenaise in Canada

I'm pretty sure that I've seen Vegenaise brand products here in Saskatoon (even at Superstore if I remember correctly). I think that they aren't shelf-stable, so you would find them in the fridge section.
