I had to take the bike in for service this weekend and was browsing the new bikes while waiting. Just out of curiosity I picked up a few of the bikes and compared them to my aluminum frame "cruiser" bike which I bought about a month ago and though was much lighter then the older steel bikes we owned.
Found an aluminum frame road bike that was SUPER light and was amazed. Then I came across the carbon bikes and was just BLOWN away.
Yeaaaa.. the price tag blew me away too as it sky rocketed from the $1,200-1,400 range to high 3k and just over 4k.
Amazing they can make a bike as strong and as light as that. WOW.
Starbucks.. did someone say Starbucks?!?!
