    People ask me & Lee if we'd ever get a tandem, to which Lee likes to quip "a tandem can't have 2 captains".

    Beautiful Co-Motion!

    I'll add to the congratulations on the new tandem. I've been riding a tandem for three years - we have ridden over 10,000 miles together. Each year the percentage of tandem riding increases and single riding decreases.

    The Co-Motion Periscope will be perfect for your family - you will be surprised how much you ride it. Enjoy it and post photo's of the rides!

    There's a couple I often see who don't put a foot down at lights. The two of them balance on their tandem as long as it takes, then off they go when the light changes. I can't do that on a bike by myself, I don't ever want to be so in tune with someone else that I could do that on a tandem.
    But, I think that's a good goal for you!

    re. tandem control issues

    Remember the rule:

    The captain controls the bike;
    the stoker controls the captain!
    Each day is a gift, that's why it is called the present.
