Prolly, since I yakked the ear off of one of the BBTC gals on that Christmas Day ride, told her that a really good place to "market" the ride would be to the TE gals...

    But maybe not. Who knows.

I thought last year's jersey was cute, but I laughed when I saw a couple of these. . .

Is everyone remembering to add their name to the ride over on bikejournal?

No worries, Trekhawk ! I might take the train after all. But let me know what your plans are - carpooling would be fun. But thanks for sparing me from the car full of pesky kids

I haven't received any PMs about lodging... I am working on finding reasonable lodging all together in one motel but I have no idea how many rooms we're talking about. So if you plan to motel/hotel it in Logan on Fri night, let me know if you haven't yet booked and what you'd like (e.g., one bed, two beds, one room, 20 rooms). The club sponsoring the ride doesn't have rooms blocked or anything, so what I am hoping to do is find a good spot with lots of rooms...then motelers can then call and make reservations. Unless of course you don't all want to be together.

For the campers it is Hyrum Lake State Park. You can make reservations no sooner than 16 weeks prior to your stay date online here: http://www.reserveamerica.com/jsp/co...TT1_state.html. I recommend you put "make campground reservations for LRRH" on your calendar for mid-February.

Also, FYI, the race director tells me this:

"We are going to keep the course open longer this year for any of your friends that were concerned about not having enough time to finish the century. It will be officially open until 5:30. But we won't kick anyone off the course that is within 10 or so miles of finishing at that time."

So no worries, ladies. And, if you bring any boys/men along, the club is working on a "Big and Bad men's t-shirt". Hmmmmmmm............

Hey Yellow thats great news about the course being open longer. Im hoping it wont take me that long but its good to know you have a little extra time if you need it.

My husband will be home in a few days so I will be able to sort out if the whole gang is coming or not. I will PM you then.

    Thanks for all your help.

all right, which one of you sly cats signed me up for premier member at bikejournal.com? SK? Thanks!

P.S. Andrew has a friend who is getting ready to move to the Salt Lake area (not sure where yet), so we will probably try to work in a double trip here: me at the LRRH and then extend the trip before/after to see his friend.

yeah! now if only I can make a decision about my summer tour. Veronica, are you still planning a trip to Ireland/France?
    Cheers!

Thom isn't going to be able to take much time off this summer, so I'm going to need to do something. I was thinking I'd just hop on your bandwagon.
