    recipe nutritional value

I have a recipe for a "protein cake" I am going to try and make.

I found it in one of my old weight lifting books from the 1980s lol. Should be interesting. And hopefully yummy too!

But, there is no nutirtional value breakdown. Does anyone have any suggestions of an easy way to get the translation?

You can do that on the Livestrong site. It's called "my plate" or something like that.

I found it totally unwieldy to do for everything I ate during a day, I was only going to try it for a few days out of curiosity, but never even made it that far. But you can do it there.

Thanks for that... I'll check it out. That's what I was kinda looking for... a web site that I could type the ingredients in and get the calculation.

At one point in life I started out in school to be a R.D. So, I know basically you look up each ingredient's value, add, and divide by serving size.

I might have one R.D. acquaint from the gym that I could ask. Know we have a lot of different occupations here on TE as well.

It's kinda a cool recipe. Hoping it turns out. The thing calls for 7 eggs lol!

Well that doesn't tell me anything. Is that 7 eggs per serving?

I use myfooddiary.com it is so much easier than any other site that I've tried.

If you send me the recipe, I can enter it and give the values to you.
