Sitbone hematoma

I'm wondering if you ruptured a varicose vein down south. Hmmmm. Should reabsorb, did it get any smaller before you hopped back on the saddle yesterday?

Thanks Chicken! I thought it was a vein, but let my GP convince me that it was a hematoma. It's located right next to the crease where my hiney meets my leg (guess that really rules out my sitbones causing it) and right now hurts like the devil. Yes. It was smaller before I hopped back on the bike yesterday, but definitely still there. I've got an appointment at a vein center in two weeks, but it sounds like maybe I should let it run it's course. Good thing the temps here are in the 100's and too hot for me to want to ride.
