Thanks guys for the info. Its always a bit iffy for me signing up for rides because I never know whether my other half will have to dash off on a trip (except the LRRH because Ive told him he will be toast if he goes away and I miss that).

Having said that I think I might sign up for the 50k and take my chances that he will be around.

V thanks for the stats but Im afraid as I still havent hooked up my new computer with altitude gain I have no idea if those stats should scare me or not.

Perhaps I should be changing my name to cluelesshawk.

That's not a lot of climbing for a ride. None of the hills are very steep. We did it on our tandem and had a blast.

I'm working on talking my coach into it. Saturdays are supposed to be fast, hard rides. 67 miles is a tad too long to be fast and hard. But it is such a pretty ride.

But the company will be soooooo good! 'Course, there's also the Bud Light and lederhosen.

Not to mention, this is the week AFTER the Solvang Double. You need to back off for a bit. You won't loose fitness in such a short period, but you could definitely over do it. Sounds like a good ride to me for between doubles.

Hey bikerz will you be doing the 100 or 50?

How are you feeling now? Is your body recovering ok?
