    I paid $100 to be fitted. It was totally worth it, the guy who did the fititng was very knowledgeable and shared tips for riding while he was doing the fitting. Don't forget to ask questions if you have any.

    If I were to buy a new bike, I would definatley pay for the fitting again.

    $100 is pretty reasonable, even cheap.... I'd say go for it!

    But if you are not having any problems right now, it might not be necessary.

    My road bike is custom. The fit was included and fit like a glove from the first.

    Before that my first road bike (my namesake) was fit over time by the same LBS. There was lots of trial and error, replacement and adjustment, "*&^% my shoulders hurt, can we do something ?".

    I learned a lot by that process but oh the painful rides to reach a customized fit.

    Yes, fitting the bike is worth it. Go for it.
