well you can always come visit me in the parking lot when you need to "dry" out!

Is it possible to update the url in the first post in this thread?

Managed to add a photo but I couldn't get the map to accept where I live (Kinross Scotland) or my call sign(Just grit your teeth and keep pedalling).
It just keeps saying invalid city!!

the zoom shows me in a big blank grey spot that is meant to be the railroad tracks next to a church about a mile from my house.
Of course most of Indiana on the main map page is a big grey spot. There's more than Grey in Indiana..
I've tried Google earth at home and my computer isn't fast enough to run it.. I wonder if my son would notice if I install it on this computer..

Cool! I'm a newbie here but posted to the map with a photo. Now if only I could delete half of the text that's with it.

    AG... that is so cool!

I'm gonna refrain from adding myself to the map for now, but promise to place a marker when I have new digs.

Me, too! I didn't realize I'd already added myself and have the same text three times. I'm not REALLY a total numbnuts, but it doesn't show that you've already got something there.

Am I supposed to see a map?

Maybe something's wrong with my 'puter, but I don't see a map! And I added myself... so what's up?

now I have to learn golf too ...?

Gee. Cool to zoom in. Found I'd been moved out into the middle of a golf course. An' here I wouldn't know a birdie from a nine-iron. No wonder I'm lost out there.
Half-marathon over. Sabbatical year over. It's back to "sacking shirt and oat cakes" as they say here.

    welll - a birdie flys

a nine-iron is from the old days, back when my fathers shirts were 100% cotton and had to be ironed!

    (ain't I a stinker? )
