I would have to order both those bikes in (£50 refundable deposit if you don't like it, so not too bad). If it wasn't for my fiance I would do it in a heartbeat. I asked him if he loved me enough to let me buy it (even though it's my bonus from work?!) he said no

Lesley, I don't understand why you need your fiance's permission to spend money that YOU earned

especially since, as you say, you are planning to use bonus money for this. Unless you've got some debt to pay off, I say use the money to buy a bike that you love and invest in your health and fitness!
